How To Sync Your Working Calendar With Poptop?

Maintaining a low cancellation rate is absolutely crucial to your success on Poptop. We will now give priority to suppliers who maintain a low  cancellation rate and commit to all bookings through Poptop. We are happy to announce that suppliers now have the ability to sync your working calendars with Poptop. 

Syncing your working calendar is a much easier way of booking management. By syncing your working calendar, you can have full confidence that you will only receive bookings when you actually have full availability. This will significantly improve your reputation on Poptop and increase your chances of securing more bookings as clients can be confident that you can commit to their event date. Syncing your calendar with Poptop also puts you one step closer to achieving our Super Supplier badge. 

Suppliers who maintain a high cancellation on Poptop will be penalised and your service listing ranking will be penalised for each cancellation. Please, follow our guidance below which shows how to sync your working calendars with Poptop. We have video guidance for the following calendars Google, Apple and Outlook.


How To Sync Your Google Calendar From Desktop?

(Unfortunately, there is no way to sync your google calendar form your phone so this must be done from a computer)

1. Open your Google calendar

2. Select the 3 dots beside which calendar you want to sync with Poptop

3. Select settings and sharing

4. Make sure your calendar is public

5. Copy the public address in iCal format

6. Go to Poptop  and select "add new calendar" and insert your calendar link into the correct field

7. Confirm which events you want to sync across to Poptop 

8. The next 100 events in your calendar is successfully synced with Poptop

9. Double check all events have been synced across to your Poptop calendar

10. You can now "sync new items" at any time and the next 100 events will sync with your Poptop calendar

How To Sync Your Apple Calendar From Desktop?

1. Open your apple calendar

2. Select the 3 lines beside which calendar you want to sync

3. Make sure "Public calendar" is ticked

4. Copy & paste the URL of your calendar

5. Go to Poptop and select "add new calendar" and insert your calendar link into the correct field

6. Confirm which events you want to sync across to Poptop

7. The next 100 events in your calendar will be successfully synced with Poptop

8. Double check all your events has synced across to your Poptop calendar

9. You can now "sync new items" at any time and the next 100 events will sync with your Poptop calendar

How To Sync Your Apple Calendar From Phone Device?

1. Go to the calendar app on your phone and select calendar at the bottom

2. Select the information icon (i) beside which calendar you want to sync with Poptop

3. Make sure your calendar is made public so it can be synced

4. Select share link and copy

5. More to the Poptop website and go to the calendar section

6. Select the calendar icon & press "add new calendar"

7. Insert your calendar link in the correct field

8. Confirm which events you want to sync across to Poptop

9. The next 100 events have been successfully synced with Poptop

10. Double check all your events have synced across to your Poptop calendar

11. You can now "sync new items" at any time and the next 100 events will sync with your Poptop calendar

How To Sync Your Outlook Calendar?

1. Open your outlook calendar & go to the settings icon on the top right

2. Select view all outlook settings & shared calendars

3. Under "publish a calendar" select which calendar you want to sync with Poptop.

4. Select the permissions "can view all details" & press publish

5. Copy & paste the ICS link and head back to the Poptop app

6. Go to the calendar section & "add a new calendar"

7. Insert your calendar link in the correct field

8. Confirm which events you want to sync across to Poptop

9. The next 100 events have been successfully synced with Poptop

10. Double check all your events have synced across to your Poptop calendar

11. You can now "sync new items" at any time and the next 100 events will sync with your Poptop calendar
